SECOND DRAFT
After analysing the feedback from our audience, we decided to improve our second draft and take into consideration their opinions such as “change the layout, make it more readable and concise“. Instead of using the “IN CINEMAS” sign, we decided to go with the “Soon…” (1) sign as it creates intrigue and curiosity and people will be more interested into seeing what’s coming new on the market. Next element was adding the name of the magazine (2) that was going to publish the review, which was placed at the top right corner, in order for the audience to be aware of what they’re reading. We’ve also added the age certificate (3) right at the top of the page for the reader to be directly informed if the movie is suitable for them. We kept the main screenshot and the caption that came with it; a new thing that we added was the star rating (4) as we’ve tried to give the reader an overview from the beginning of what they’re about to read and give them hints about the production. Also, by adding the quote (5) from the review on a double-coloured background we were thinking it would attract the audience more as we used blue and pink overlapped, indicating that there is a boy and a girl involved. Also the statistics (6) were put at the bottom of the review page and we’ve tried making them appealing to our audience (mainly teenagers) by using different colours and easy-to-read data. For a better design we added a black border around the review page to give it a more sophisticated look.
Similarly with the first draft, we have presented this second draft to our audience and requested feedback:
